Customer Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our Platform.
  • By using our Platform, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.

2. Account Registration

  • To use the Platform, you must register for an account.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3. Customer Obligations

  • Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations.
  • Be ready for pickup at the designated time.
  • Pay the fare as calculated by the Platform.
  • Treat Drivers with respect and follow all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Fees and Payments

  • Customers are required to pay for rides using the payment methods available on the Platform.
  • We may charge service fees (extra luggage, pets), which will be disclosed to you before you complete a ride.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Customers may cancel rides, but cancellation fees may apply.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our refund policy.

6. Prohibited Activities

  • You agree not to use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  • You shall not engage in harassment, discrimination, or any conduct that violates the rights of others.
  • Any type of weapons included but not limited to firearms are prohibited

7. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, VI Rider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.
  • Our liability for direct damages shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.

9. Modifications to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated Terms on our Platform.
  • Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Privacy Policy

  • Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of USVI, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
